Little Love Bugs is a group family daycare registered through the state of New York. We are located in the beautiful village of Gowanda, NY and are permitted to care for twelve children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years. However, we specialize in preschool (ages 3 and 4). Not only does Little Love Bugs provide a warm and loving environment for your children to stay while you're away, we also provide activities that are based on promoting self help skills, fine/gross motor skills, and language enrichment.
My journey to opening up an in home daycare.
Eight years ago I realized that working with children was my passion. So, I ventured on to college to obtain my childhood education degree. Since the beginning of my college career I dreamt of what my future classroom would look like. I never imagined that my classroom would actually end up being right inside my very own home. However, I've come to see that having an in home daycare is exactly what I was meant to do!
I graduated from college in 2010 and immediatley started searching for a job. Unfortunatley, this was around the same time that many teachers were being laid off. Needless to say, finding an open position in the public schools was not an easy task. However, I desperately wanted to work with children. So, I decided to bring the classroom to me!
